The Star gets her game....

"eye on the prize" (Nikon D70s)

Our star of the show.........."Miss Meadow". This is a picture I took of her as she watched the competition! Meadow won first in her category as well as the "winner of winners"!!
Way to go!

Great Dog

"the great wait" (Nikon D70s)

Like I've done in the past, I thought I'd do a couple of postings tonight since I haven't done any in a while..........
Here's another pic. from the dog show.........A 9mth.(i think they said 9mths.) old Great Dane puppy. Very very sweet!

Doggy Lineup

"best of stay" (Nikon D70s)

Apologies to those who actually check into this site, for not getting new posts up sooner. It's been busy the past week or so for me and it all ended with a great photo opportunity at a dog show! My brother and sister-in-law's puppy was entered into a dog show by their breeder which was very exciting. She was a hit! There was a lot of waiting around so I snapped a shot wherever and whenever I could. The picture I posted tonight is one I took of a bunch of dogs who were competing in another ring for obedience. It was hilarious to see the different personalities within each dog as they sat still waiting to get the "okay" and pat on the head from their respective owners!

Fall to an End....

"fall road" (Nikon D70s)

It's pretty clear given the last few days that Fall is on its way out! Thankfully, I was able to catch a picture of Fall at its peak. This is probably one of the most beautiful times of year when the air chills and the leaves start their cycle of changing colours.

Church St. Hoopla

"church st. chiquita" (Nikon D70s)

As a tradition, some friends and I usually hit Church St. here in Toronto on Halloween night. It's always complete madness with the crowds of people but the costumes make it all worth while!! Taking photos is always a struggle because if you're not quick, you'll get run over by a mass of people! At any rate, thanks to Krista (my "photo-guard" for the night), I was able to capture some good sights. The pic. I have posted tonight captures the night very well - Bright, Fast, Crazy, Fun!!
